Pour gelatin with cold water and leave to swell.
Divide the eggs into proteins and yolks. Whisk the yolks with sugar.
Mix milk with 150 ml. cream and bring to a boil over low heat. Then pour in the yolks very slowly and cook constantly stirring until the mixture thickens. Then add the gelatin, stir until it dissolves and remove from heat. Chill.
Whip the remaining cream with vanilla extract. Add cream to the cooled cream and mix.
Arrange the mousse in molds, refrigerate for 2 hours and serve.
