Cut the hake into portions, salt and fry in oil.
Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until golden. Add pepper, tomato sauce and broth and bring everything to a boil.
Transfer the fish to a ceramic pot, fill with the prepared sauce, add the garlic, salt and pepper passed through the press to taste.
Simmer in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 degrees.
