Preheat oven to 175 degrees. Cover 2 baking sheets with baking paper.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
In a mixer, beat the sugar and butter until airy. Beat the egg and add the vanilla. Pour in the flour mixture gradually, add confetti at the very end. Knead a uniform dough for sugar cookies .
Blind small balls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet, leaving about 2.5 cm between them.
Bake for 8 minutes. Sugar cookies will not look completely cooked, will not brown, but the cooking process will continue until they cool - and thus harden.
