Rinse the strawberries well and chop with a blender along with sugar. Sugar is not necessary if the berries are sweet.
Cover the baking sheet with parchment and evenly distribute the puree about 10 mm thick. Dry the pastille in the oven for about 3-5 hours at 100 degrees with the doors ajar. Do not remove the pan from the oven until it has completely cooled.
Cut the finished pastille into strips and roll it.
