Cut the squid into rings.
Finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil until transparent, right in the pan.
Add the squid to the onion and cook another 2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and frozen green peas, thyme, salt to taste and simmer over very low heat for about 40 minutes.
