Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium high heat until a smoke appears. Add chopped sausages and onions and cook, until browned, for about 4 minutes. Add garlic and fry for about 30 seconds.
Add the broth, tomatoes, cream, pasta, salt and pepper and mix. Bring to a boil, cover the pan and reduce heat to below average. Stew until pasta is soft, about 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and mix with 1/2 cup of cheese. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and onion. Fry until the cheese melts to blisters and brownish color.
