Chop the onion, rub the carrots, cut the potatoes into thin slices. Fry the onions in a pan for 5 minutes until transparent. Add carrots to the pan and simmer another 5 minutes. Add the minced meat to the pan and simmer it all together until the minced meat turns brown. Salt, pepper.
Grease a baking dish with butter. At the bottom of the mold lay a layer of potatoes. Then a layer of minced meat. And again, repeat this phasing of layers.
Put tomatoes on the last layer of minced meat. And again, with all the potatoes, it’s very important that the last layer of Serbian Moussaka is the potato.
We bake in the oven at 250 degrees 25 minutes until the potatoes are browned. Beat the eggs with milk and salt as for an omelet and evenly pour the dish on top. Then cover with a layer of cheese. Bake moussaka in the oven for another 25 minutes, until the cheese turns into a golden brown crust. Before serving, you can sprinkle with parsley.
