Finely chop the garlic and onion.
Wash all other vegetables and cut into small cubes.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and saute the onions and garlic until tender.
Then add the remaining chopped vegetables. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Add tomato and chopped basil. Mix well and season to taste. Cook another 10 minutes.
The ratatouille in the pan is ready, serve warm.
