You can take mashed potatoes ready-made or cook yourself. Just boil the pumpkin until soft and beat with a blender until smooth.
Mix flour with baking powder and sugar, add soft butter and grind everything into crumbs.
Add pumpkin puree to the crumbs and knead the dough.
Add chopped nuts to the dough and knead the dough well.
Roll out the dough in a circle 1 cm thick. Cut into triangles and bake at 180 C for 25 minutes.
Let the skones cool down and serve.
