Fry the ribs in vegetable oil until golden brown. At the end, add the onion sliced in half rings and cook for a few more minutes.
Then add the grated carrots, salt and pepper, cook another 5 minutes.
Add sauerkraut and cook under the lid for 15 minutes.
After add chopped fresh cabbage. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Add washed pitted prunes, cook for another 15 minutes, add spices if necessary. Serve right away.
