Clean the pike from scales and entrails, disassemble on a fillet and cut into pieces convenient for pickling and further use.
Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
In a glass with warm water, mix salt, sugar and acetic acid, mix well until completely dissolved. Lay out several slices of fish in layers in a jar, then onion and repeat until the jar is full.
Sprinkle with coriander and peppercorns on top, it is better not to use ground spices. Fill the pike with the previously prepared marinade and add vegetable oil. Let the pike marinate in the refrigerator overnight.
Pickled pike is ready, serve with a side dish, on a sandwich or separately for beer.
Pickled pike with onions and spices turns out to be surprisingly tasty, juicy and fragrant. To prepare such an appetizer is very simple and fairly quick, if you are not sure that the fish is fully marinated then leave for a day. Serve together with pickled onions to beer or drinks stronger, very tasty with new potatoes or with vegetable salads.
