Add salt, sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar to the pan, bring to a boil.
Add mushrooms, cloves, bay leaves and allspice to the pan. Water will not need to be added enough liquid that will stand out from the mushrooms. Boil for about 7 minutes under a lid. Arrange the mushrooms with a marinade jar and leave for 5 hours.
Serve mushrooms with green onions.
