Chop the cabbage. Grate carrots on a coarse grater.
Now we put cabbage and carrots in layers in a large bowl. Somewhere between the layers we put slices of peeled garlic and ram tightly.
For the marinade, mix boiling water (1 liter) with the rest of the ingredients and mix until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved.
Pour the cabbage with hot marinade so that it covers the cabbage, cover tightly with a lid and leave to marinate for 2 days at room temperature.
Ready cabbage can only be laid out in banks and put in the refrigerator.
