Soak the bread with hot milk and leave to soak for 10 minutes.
We clean the vegetables. Grate potatoes, carrots and beets on a fine grater. Finely chop the onion.
Mix all the vegetables with minced meat, eggs and mashed bread. A sufficiently liquid mass should be obtained, otherwise the meatballs will come out dry.
We form meatballs with vegetables and send to the oven. Bake at 180 degrees for about an hour, then cover with grated cheese and bake for another half hour at 150 degrees.
