Cut carrots coarsely.
Chop onion and garlic and fry directly in a pot with olive oil. When the onion is browned, add water or broth, pour in the carrots.
Make meatballs from minced meat. When the water boils, add them to the pan.
When the carrots are cooked, add the peas and cook for 5 minutes, salt and pepper to taste.
Cover the finished soup with a lid and let it stand for 20 minutes, then serve.
