Cook compote from dried fruits, add sugar to taste.
Soak the wheat for 2 hours, then drain the water and boil a new bay until tender, about 1 hour. Throw it in a colander.

Kutia Yuzhnaya is made from wheat with the addition of dried fruit compote; for a more beautiful kutia color, frozen red berries can also be added to the compote. To make kutia bright and colorful, chopped jelly candies or marmalade can be laid out on top.
