For the test, mix the egg with soft butter, add salt and sifted flour. Knead the dough and put it in the refrigerator while we are preparing the filling.
For the filling, grate the ham with a coarse grater, add chopped herbs and finely chopped onions.
Beat the eggs, add cream and grated cheese to them, salt and pepper to taste.
Grease a baking dish with a little oil and lay out the rolled dough by making sides.
Put the filling on the dough and pour the creamy-cheese mass. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour at 180 degrees.
Let cool slightly and serve.
The ham pie under the cheese crust turns out to be very tender, tasty and satisfying, it has a thin layer of dough, a lot of filling and a delicious cheese crust. Cooking such a pie is quite simple, the cooking time will depend on your oven and the height of the pie, I used a 26 cm diameter dish. Add your favorite spices and a mixture of herbs if desired to make the cake flavorful.
