Wash the ribs, pat dry with paper towels and cut into pieces.
Pass the garlic through a press, add ketchup, vinegar, juice, oil and honey, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
Place the ribs in the marinade, mix well so that each piece is coated with the marinade. Leave to marinate for at least 3 hours, the longer the better.
Prepare the ribs on the open barbecue until ready.
