Rinse gooseberries, put in 2 liters. a sterile jar and carefully so that it does not burst the jar, pour boiled water. Cover with a sterile lid and leave for 5 minutes.
Drain the can from the can into the pan using a plastic lid with holes, add sugar to the water and bring to a boil.
Pour the gooseberries with the resulting broth and roll up. Turn the top upside down and cover with a blanket until it cools completely.
