Chop fresh cabbage or grate on a special grater.
Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Add to the cabbage, then salt a little and remember with your hands.
Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil until soft.
Add cabbage to the onion and fry until golden brown, salt and pepper to taste, cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serve with any side dish.
