Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Dice potatoes and carrots.
In a pot of water 3 l. put potatoes, carrots, whole onions and parsley root. Cook until vegetables are cooked for about 20 minutes.
Then add bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste. Put the fish in a pan and cook for about 10 minutes after boiling.
Add chopped greens and turn off the heat.
Remove parsley and onions from the soup. Serve hot.
