Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pan. Cut the chicken into small pieces.
Combine flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, pepper in a large bowl. Beat the egg and milk together. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg mixture and then roll in the flour mixture. Chill in breading for 20 minutes.
Fry the chicken in small portions for about 5 minutes.
Mix hot pepper sauce with butter and place in the microwave or in a steam bath until the butter dissolves. Pour the prepared meat sauce and serve.
