Rub the duck with salt and pepper inside and out. Pass the garlic through a press and rub the whole carcass as well.
Cut the apples in half, remove the seeds from them and fold them inside the duck.
Sew the trouser with a thread or fasten with a toothpick.
Put the duck on the baking sheet, pour melted butter and bake in the oven for 2 hours at 190 degrees. Periodically pour duck fat from it for a golden crust.
