Rinse the cornel and dip in boiling water, simmer for 10 minutes.
Strain our compote through a small full, rub the berries.
Return mashed dogwood to the pan and boil. Then add sugar and cook for another minute.
Dissolve starch separately in a small amount of water so that there are no lumps, pour into a saucepan and cook for another minute.
Remove the jelly from the heat and stir it slowly, allowing it to cool slightly. Then strain through cheesecloth to remove lumps from mashed potatoes and serve.
