In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water with 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add flour until the mixture forms a ball.
Heat frying oil in a deep fryer or deep pan to 190 degrees C. Dip the dough in a pastry bag with an asterisk nozzle. Squeeze the dough into butter in small strips.
Fry until golden brown. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon and roll the finished cookies in this mixture.
