Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Beat butter and sugar with a mixer. Add 3 eggs and almond extract. Mix the flour, baking powder and salt separately, then add this mixture to the main bowl and continue whisking. If the dough is too thick, add some milk.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and add dyes to them. On a baking sheet, put two sheets of parchment paper to separate the two types of dough. Do not roll out the dough and make it in the form of sticks, so that you can then be cut into 2 parts. Bake for 45 minutes.
Let the cakes cool, then cut them into two. Connect them in a checkerboard pattern with apricot jam.
Roll marzipan, wrap a pie in it. Sprinkle with sugar. Do the same with fondant.
Using the blunt side of the knife, carefully push the diagonal stripes. Use corn syrup to glue pearl dragees.
