You can use ready-made poppy seed filling or simply grind pre-soaked poppy seeds with sugar to taste in a meat grinder several times.
Make a dough. Warm milk mix with 1 tbsp. l sugar, yeast and add half the flour. Stir well and let stand for half an hour in a warm place. 2 eggs whisk a little with the rest of the sugar, salt and melted butter, pour into a dough, mix, add the rest of the flour and knead a soft dough. Let stand in a cold place for 1.5 hours.
Roll out the dough in a rectangle, lay out the poppy seed filling and fold three times wrapping from the sides in the middle.
Cut into strips approximately 3 cm wide.
Twist each strip in a spiral several times and connect the ends. Put the buns on a sheet covered with parchment pry, grease with a beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
Buns with poppy seeds are ready, serve warm.
