For beef stroganoff, use beef tenderloin so it can be cooked in minutes. Cut the meat into strips and fry in vegetable oil, it is advisable to do this in small portions so that the meat is quickly fried without losing its juices, and if you cook everything at once, it will just be stewed in its own juice.
When all the meat is fried, return it to the pan and add the chopped onion, fry for several minutes.
Add water or broth to cover all meat and simmer for 20 minutes. After, add chopped mushrooms, cream, bay leaf, flour, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes.
Serve hot to any side dish.
Beef stroganoff with mushrooms is a very tender, nourishing, juicy and aromatic dish of beef. There is nothing difficult to prepare, this dish will be more correctly called beef with mushrooms, but despite the name it turns out delicious and satisfying, and this I think is the most important thing. Add your favorite spices, if desired, and add some garlic and any greens to serve to tone and spice up.
