Rinse the lemon well, you can still pour over boiling water. Cut in circles with the skin.
Finely chop the fennel root.
Prepare baking foil so that it completely covers the fish. Put lemons on the bottom of the foil so that they are just the size of a salmon, put fish on lemons, salt, pepper to taste and sprinkle with chopped fennel.
Wrap the foil tightly and bake the salmon at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Baked salmon with fennel and lemon is very tender, juicy and aromatic. Preparing such a dish is quick and easy; it is perfect for lunch or dinner for the whole family. Instead of fennel, you can try celery, but if there is nothing at hand then just sprinkle with any herbs. Lemon makes the fish fragrant and tender, if you wish, you can put another circle of lemon on top of the salmon.
