Thinly chop the potatoes. Rinse several times with cold water and blot excess water on paper. Fry in parts until light golden on a small amount of vegetable oil, salt each serving.
Spread the fried potatoes in a mold greased slightly with vegetable oil. Put chopped garlic on each potato layer. Pour in cream.
Put the potatoes with garlic in the oven to bake, first at 250 C, then, after 15 minutes, reduce to 225 C and cook until golden brown.
