In a large skillet with a tight-fitting lid, heat the oil over medium heat. Add chicken cook until brown.
Remove chicken from the pan. Reduce heat to low and add garlic, onion and chopped potatoes, cook for 3 minutes. Season with caraway seeds, coriander, black pepper, red pepper and salt. Do not let the garlic brown.
Mix chicken and fried seasonings with potatoes and onions in water, cook over low heat, stirring for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove the lid and add peanut butter and lamb peas. Remove the lid and cook over low heat for another 10 minutes or until everything is ready. Season to taste.
