The mussels must first be defrosted. Add oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
Mussels need to be strung on wooden skewers soaked in water. Cook on an open grill, turning constantly for 5 minutes, or in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
